My old recipe book has been around a while and is a bit tatty, making a new one has been on the list for a while now. I used an old book cover that had lost most of its pages and structure. I used card to strengthen the spine and covered the whole thing in black card. The cover is fabric, something me and Genie bought years ago and didn't have the guts to cut into it, and therefore never used. For the inside I decided to go for Recipe Cards rather than pages so I re-used a box that holds a good wedge of blank postcards from my stock. I also included a post-it book and pen so I can make notes or shopping lists, and there are a few regular recipes chalked on the inside cover for quick reference.
